We've dined at TBonz Steakhouse about 10 times, but today is my first review. I've always had steak in the past, and it has always been an enjoyable meal. This afternoon I tried their French Dip sandwich with a side of French fries. What's not to love - shaved prime rib with provolone cheese on a hoagie roll - it was really, really good! My lovely wife had the fried shrimp with wild rice. She really liked the shrimp but thought the rice was just OK. We shared a warm brownie with vanilla ice cream and chocolate topping for dessert. It was scrumptious!
There's a reason why this restaurant was voted the best in Augusta for steaks. The steaks are fabulous! My husband had prime rib and loved it and I had an 8 oz Sirloin and it was seasoned to perfection. I even took home our left over mashed potatoes to our grandbaby. Everything was seasoned to perfection and the service was excellent. My husband's biggest pet peeve is not having his drink refilled and our server topped off his sweet tea consistently. I even left my phone on our table and she brought it to my husband. Not only was the service excellent, the food was too! Support local!
Date night for hubby & me. He got 16 oz ribeye & I got beef tips. Both were tender & delicious. Gianna was an excellent server & offered wonderful recommendations. Will be returning.
I wish I could give more stars. I want to give a special shout out to Victoria who was my server. She gave me some of the best most attentive service I received in a long time. The food was excellent and served very quickly. It was perfectly cooked and seasoned. I will be back again and again.
We were passing through and googled places to eat. We came in on a Thursday night and it was not busy, but we got the best service and food. I had the filet and it was great and cooked to perfection, my husband had the prime rib and he said it is the best one he has ever had.
Our food was delicious. I had the chop steak smothered in sauteed onions and mushrooms and 2 sides. My friend had the baby back ribs. She said they were very tender and 2 sides. Our waitress was very friendly and we had great service.
Heather is absolutely amazing!!! If I could give the service a 10 star review I would! I am a server myself so I know good service when I get it. Best service I have ever received and while the restaurant was at full capacity! The food was delicious and the atmosphere was laid back. My boyfriend and I were told it would be a 20 minute wait and we got sat quicker than that, on a Friday night! We ordered medium 8oz Top Sirloins and they were cooked perfectly medium! If you decide to eat here ask for Heather and she will give you the best service you’ve ever had! Don’t forget a 20% tip is the minimum for good service but great service deserves at least 30%!
The food was and is always amazing! My steak is always cooked perfectly! The waitress gave us top notch service too.
